My final year at school has now started, and it is time I start giving some consideration to what I might want to do in the future.

But that's just the thing: I don't know what I want to do in the future!! I have so many ideas! Maybe journalism or photography? I like being creative and writing and I've always likd photography. But I like English and Geography, so maybe something that would combine those two subjects (no teaching, though)? Or maybe something completely different? I'm interested in the tourism industry, so maybe something like tourism or event management?

I know one thing for sure though: I don't want to start university straight away. 13 years of school is enough! I can barely cope as it is and I still have a year to go! So I need more than a bit of a breather before I consider doing anything else.

Lately I have been researching Gap Years and I really like the idea. I miss travelling and as a member of Friends of Nature I would like to do some voluntary work somewhere. There are so many opportunities out there, I don't know where to start!! But I'm quite keen on doing a round the world trip with different placements in various countries! Obviously this will need a bit of work, especially on my parents' part, but maybe this will help me figure out what exactly I wat to do with my life!
